Rules and regulations for working with 24-7 Temp


   
As a CASUAL PART TIME WORKER (ELECT TO WORK EMPLOYEE) of 24-7 Temp Personnel Services you will be expected to adhere to our rules and regulations. They are listed below for your information. A signature at the bottom will acknowledge your complete understanding of the below listed conditions of employment.
 
  
You are required to report to work on time, properly dressed and wearing CSA approved safety shoes.
   
You are required to call 24-7 Temp regarding any accident and report the accident immediately to your supervisor.
   
You must not report for work under the influence of alcohol or drugs or have alcohol on your breath or consume any drugs or alcohol beverages while on duty.
   
You are expected to perform your duties in a professional manner to the satisfaction of our client. Any problems that arise with the CLIENT should be brought to our attention IMMEDIATLEY.
   
COMMUNICATION is the key to working at 24-7 Temp. You must call our office to keep up to date on possible assignments and current information.
   
You will regard all legal standards of safety as minimum and where there is no legal standard you will operate at the maximum level of safety.
   
If your job is off our premises, it is imperative that you familiarize yourself with and adhere to the CLIENT’S Health and Safety Policies and Safety Rules and Regulations.
   
You have the right to refuse work that is considered to be unsafe.
   
If an accident occurs outside of normal working hours and Medical Attention is sought, 24-7 Temp Personnel Services MUST be advised on the next business day.
   
All physical injuries and mechanical incidents or accidents must be reported immediately and are subject to full investigation.
   
During lost time from work, every employee MUST update 24-7 Temp on a weekly basis regarding their Medical and Work status. This includes all doctors’ notes that you have received.
   
If an accident report is made to WSIB, the employee must submit to a Physical Medical Assessment by a Doctor chosen by WSIB if requested.
   
Every Employee returning to work after a work injury MUST PROVIDE a Doctor’s note indicating the exact return to work date and if this return is to regular OR modified duties. IF modified, the Doctor’s certificate must outline specific restrictions.
   
24-7 Temp Personnel Services reserves the right to refuse employment in certain positions where restrictions are stated in a doctor’s certificate.
   
As a casual part-time worker you have the option to refuse work that is offered to you. If you accept an assignment but become unavailable, you must notify 24-7 Temp Personnel Services at the earliest time possible with your intent to be absent.
   
Cheques cannot be cashed or doubled endorsed by anyone other than the 24-7 Temp employee.
   
An administration fee will be deducted from your paycheck for any checks that need to be re-issued.
   
Our goal is to protect our clients from hiring poor quality employees. If a criminal background check is required by our client, would you complete a consent form authorizing 24-7 Temp to obtain your criminal record? Yes  No
